While shopping and browsing around online I chanced upon this vent cleaner. The picture showed this product cleaning the vents in a car. Knowing my car has never been detailed or cleaned since I’ve had it I thought why not give this a try.
So I tested the brush/bristles first around the plate where the stick shift is. While it did brush away some of that dust/dirt most of my dirt was stuck in place.
I think maybe the brush would work better after the area you intend to work on has been moistened by water or whatever cleaner you intend to use. The vent cleaner portion of the tool worked very well on the car air vents. And it goes a good ways up into the vent. I didn’t realize how dirty car vents could get. I then did a little further reading and saw that it said it could also work on window blinds.
So I tried it out on my kitchen blinds and yes it works there as well. Although if you haven’t cleaned your blinds in a long while your little micro-fiber cloth may get quite dirty and then you’ll just be smearing or moving dust and dirt around.
Thinking about it now I think this little vent cleaner might also work to clean the blades on my room ionizer as well. I will have to wash it out and give it a try. Over all I’m very pleased with this little brush and vent cleaner. The perfect tool to get into those hard to reach places.
